    Recently at a business meeting, a woman said to me, “You seem to be very comfortable talking with men.” I admit I was a little taken back by her statement and pushed her to ask what did she mean.  “You have no problem with pulling up a chair and jumping in a conversation with them without any hesitation; you’re not afraid,” she responded. While I had never given it any thought prior, I realized she was right, I didn’t have any fear.  However, I shared that my consensus was, in my teenaged years, I had become a pioneer female rapper in the male dominated music genre, Hip Hop, and I was used to the “ole boys club” considering there were so few women, so perhaps this “no fear” attitude with men spilled over into my adulthood. But “that’s not everyone and certainly not many women”, she exclaimed.
